Goal #1

Resurfacing
$50,000

Resurfacing the existing court has been estimated at $50,000. We hope to have this money raised by fall 2024, so that this portion of the project can be completed before winter.

The old tennis courts are in dire need of resurfacing.

As additional funds are raised, the outdoor Menahga pickleball courts will be finished.

About Menahga

Menahga is located on Highway 71 in central Minnesota.

The St. Urho statue along Highway 71 celebrates Finnish heritage and is a popular photo spot for visitors.

Menahga boasts a beach and fishing pier, close access to multiple lakes and the Crow Wing River.

Beach

Menahga's Spirit Lake beach is just one block west of Highway 71 and has a changing house / bathroom and small playground area.

Adjacent to the pickleball courts, it has good offroad parking and is city-owned.

Restaurants

A coffee shop, a sit-down restaurant, and a couple of fastfood and gas station options round out the Menahga restaurants.

Drive a little further out of town, and find more places to eat.

Disc Golf

The Menahga City Park and Campground just south of town has a 12-hole disc golf course.

Use an app to navigate and keep score, or just play for fun. Short and long tees are fun for all experience types.

Accomodations

Stay at a motel or the city campground, and enjoy Menahga's local charm.

Gas stations, grocery stores, post office, banks, and a little bit of shopping are all within easy reach, making it convenient to explore.
